m Brenda Grisham, and I’m running for mayor because Oakland needs leadership rooted in the community, guided by integrity, and focused on results.
I was born and raised in Oakland. I am a business owner and have spent more than 13 years advocating for public safety, violence prevention, and families affected by crime. After my son Christopher was murdered, I turned my pain into purpose.
As mayor, I will focus on three priorities: strengthening public safety by improving recruitment and retention; restoring financial stability by reviewing city spending, contracts, assets, unpaid taxes, and uncollected fines; and expanding affordable housing and economic opportunities.
Oakland does not need more promises. Oakland needs a leader who listens, leads, and delivers.
I am from the soil of Oakland, and I am running for the people of Oakland. On November 3, 2026, I respectfully ask for your vote.
Together, we will build a safer, stronger, and more financially stable Oakland.
Public safety is my number 1 concern
Provide real affordable housing geared to those who make under the city medium income
We need to invest more in our local businesses to keep them here and thriving
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
